The Space

Villa Avda des Port is a lovely three-bedroom, two-bathroom villa that is located in the popular resort of Port Addaya, conveniently close to the area’s variety of bars, restaurants and shops but still managing to remain quiet, peaceful and with plenty of privacy. Nearby are the larger resorts of Son Parc, Arenal d’en Castell and Fornells, or for something quieter and more local, there is the quaint little beach of Na Macaret also a short drive away.  Upon entering the villa, there is a large open plan living/dining room comfortably furnished and equipped with TV with IPTV channels, a DVD player, a PlayStation 2, a CD player and Wi-Fi internet access.  From here there are doors that lead out onto the terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped, complete with oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and full set of crockery, cutlery and utensils. Adjoining the kitchen is a utility room with a sink and washing machine.  Located on teh ground floor is two of the three bedrooms, one double and one twin bed, both sharing a family bathroom. The master bedroom is located on the first floor, it has a fitted wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom.  It also has two balconies, one to the front of the room that has distant sea views, and one at the back that overlooks the garden.  All bedrooms have mosquito screens, so that the windows may be left open at night if the guests wish to do so.

The outside areas are comprised of the following: a covered outdoor dining area with table, chairs and BBQ, a swimming pool that measures 8 × 4.25m, terrace perfect for sunbathing with loungers and the pretty, manicured gardens that offers plenty of privacy.

The whole house has central heating which makes it a good property for staying in out of season, when the nights get chillier than they do during the summer. It is a highly recommended holiday home, perfect for families and guests looking for somewhere to relax.

Location

Addaya is a sheltered fishing and sailing port on the North-East of the island. The large natural harbour inlet is surrounded by rugged farmland whilst the old tower of Torre d’Addaya dominates the entrance to the beautiful estuary where you can dive and fish. The whole area is renowned for its beauty, beaches, scuba diving and bird watching with many country walks and cycling trails clearly signposted. Over the last few years Addaya has become an attractive area of quality residential properties built around a smart marina, home to private yachts and boats. One of the best sailing schools in the Mediterranean is in Fornells, just 15 minutes from Addaya.

Addaya has a small parade of shops and restaurants as well as a small tapas bar/restaurant down on the harbour overlooking the water. A scenic coastal footpath wends its way around Addaia with spectacular views out to sea and over to nearby Macaret.
