The Space
Villa Caterina has been tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and all rooms are distributed on one floor. It comprises of a spacious living/dining room with TV with DVD (limited English channels), a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, one twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and ceiling fan, one double bedroom with air-conditioning, one twin bedroom with ceiling fan and one full bathroom.
The villa has a number of outdoor areas that a re perfect for dining and relaxing in the shade. Connected to the living room is an “L” shape veranda furnished with table and chairs for al-fresco dining and relaxing in the shade.
The pool terrace, which is accessed via steps or a path, is furnished with sun beds, a second table with benches and a stone barbeque. Next to the ramp is an indigenous garden and a small terrace furnished with a third table and chairs.
Location
Villa Caterina is situated on a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala'n Porter, on the south coast of the island. The town is ideal for families and offers a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful bay with crystal clear water is a 10 minute walk from the villa and can be accessed via steps or road. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car and the capital town, Mahon, is also only 10 minutes drive.
Cala'n Porter is set on the cliffs overlooking a stunning bay in a protected nature area offering fabulous views of countryside, white sands and turquoise waters. This is a self-contained resort perfect for those wanting everything nearby. It is also close to Mahon, Es Castell and Alaior if you fancy a change of scenery.
The beach at Cala en Porter is perfect for smaller children due to its perfect sands, and shallow waters.
The beach can be reached on foot via steps or by car with free car parking. At the beach front there are public toilets and a red cross/lifeguards post. There are also a few beachside Cafe bars and basic restaurants along the beachside promenade in case you don’t fancy walking back up the hill for your lunch.

As from 1st July 2016 the Balearic Government imposed a Tourism Eco Tax of 2.20€ (VAT included) for the first 8 nights stay per person per night. From the ninth night of the stay onwards, the amount is reduced to 1.10€ (VAT included) per person per night. The tax applies to all guests over the age of 16 and is payable on arrival at the property managers check-in reception in office.
