The Space

Alta Mar is a larger-than-life apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms located above Son Bou, and enjoys spectacular sea views from its terrace.
The accommodation is all on one level. Through the patio doors, you immediately enter the large living room, furnished with sofas, a coffee table, and a DVD player. This room can easily accommodate a fold-up bed if required for a child (a weekly supplement applies).
From this room, to the left, is the kitchen with an electric oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, microwave, and all necessary utensils for meal preparation.
Returning to the living room, on the right is the master bathroom, beautifully furnished and featuring a large, modern shower. At the other end of the apartment, there is another bathroom and the master bedroom with a king-size bed and a bedroom with two single beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and plenty of closet space.
The large terrace has a wrought iron gate at the entrance, hammocks for sunbathing, and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. The views of the beach are truly magnificent.
All apartments in this complex share a large communal pool with an adjacent children's pool. Please note that these facilities are not immediately adjacent to the apartment, but are a short walk away.
There are steps leading from the road and parking area to the entrance of the house, which should be taken into account for those with mobility issues. The property is located at the top of a hill leading up from the coast; due to this uphill path, a rental car is recommended.

The Location

The property is approximately a seven-minute walk from the nearest bars and restaurants and a ten-minute walk from the beautiful Son Bou Beach. There is a supermarket approximately five minutes' walk away.
Son Bou beach is the longest in Menorca, measuring almost 2.5 km, and is the first choice for many visitors to the island. In addition to providing a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, many of the bars and restaurants offer live music.
For many visitors to the island, Son Bou Beach, with its white sand and crystal-clear waters, is the area's main attraction. It boasts bars/restaurants and services for renting sun loungers, parasols, pedal boats, and canoes along its shoreline. The San Jaime Club is also nearby, offering various facilities, including a large pool, water slides, and a restaurant. Additionally, from June to September, most of the area's bars and restaurants offer live music and entertainment. There really is something for everyone at this beautiful, clean, and well-maintained resort.
Or you can also head to the nearby town of Alayor to stroll through the pretty streets of the historic centre, or even head to Mahón or Es Castell to visit their lively ports or villages where you'll find a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
